You Live You Learn

So kiddos, thanks to Stephen, over at The Chubby Chatterbox,  I learned something new today. RSS stalking a blog does not mean you've joined their site. Hmmm. Lots o people don't know I love them yet. Sigh. Yet another compulsive hoarding behavior has begun. I must go spread the news that I love people's writing.

Please try not to laugh too hard at yet more evidence that I am turning into my mother and will probably be completely technologically outdated in another 10 years. I've been blogging for the past 6 years and I still hadn't figured this out. Sheesh.

What would we do without our kids to keep us up on modern technology? A year ago I didn't know what a blog was, and now I've met you. I couldn't be happier.

Yay, you joined my site! You love me, you really do! :)

I didn't realize that either at first!! Since I am part of the "technology generation" you would think I would know these things but I am so clueless most times!! LoL

@Stephen - I used to think I was decently well versed in technological stuff. I've been using computers since I was little and was on the internet since Jr. High. I still feel like a blooming idiot when these things happen. They seem so obvious when you find them out.
@Kianwi - I do, I really, really do. :-)
@Miz Tink - Oh good. I'm not the last one on the bus. :-) Same here. I thought I had a handle on staying up to date with things. Guess not.

@Stephen - by the way, glad to have met you too. This is why I blog - it's all about the meeting other folks.

Its not the followers that counts, I like comments, and comments you can interact with.

@Rusty - I completely agree. I just find it nice when regular folks follow so that you can go check out their blog and make sure to give back comments on their writing. Random comments are always good, but may not lead to further investigation. It's definitely not a numbers game. I guess I'm rather new to the game so finding out that people are actually interested enough to follow rather than just leave 1 comment is great.

Yeah I'm more concerned about how many hits my site gets. Which is very few.

@Michael - I like watching how many hits I get because it seriously floats my boat to think that many people (not really) are actually visiting. Then again, lots of hits from Russia, which leads me to think this number is vastly misleading and probably am being visited by spam bots.

Just discount all the views from Russia and then see what you get.

I have had to subscribe in email to some blogs b/c blogger only allows you to follow 300, trying to figure out what to do. LOL on becoming your mom- :) Embrace it- there are some nice AARP specials and rebates :)j/k

@Gossip Grl - You actually figured this out because you follow more than 300 blogs???? Hats off to you. I'm exhausted just thinking about it! There are a lot of Wordpress blogs that only have an email follow option.

Actually, I'm not afraid of turning into my mother per say, I just didn't think it would happen already.:-)
